The fees are <br />adopted by the Council by resolution on a yearly basis. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Presented for Council consideration are the 1998 fees and the <br />proposed 1999 fees. If a change is recommended by staff, the 1998 fee <br />will have a line through it and the new proposed fee will be <br />indicated in red. <br /> <br />Listed below is a general explanation of the proposed fee <br />amendments. <br /> <br />AudiolVideo......Dubbing audio and video tapes takes several hours <br />per tape. The Police Department has been charging the proposed fee <br />of $20 for audio tapes and $30 for video tapes. Staff is proposing to <br />increase the fees being charged by the administrative department to <br />be consistent with the police department. <br /> <br />Video Eauipment/Operator.....An increase is proposed to cover the <br />cost of upkeep and maintenance of the audio video equipment. <br />Currently four hours of use would cost $125. Four hours of use at <br />the proposed increase would cost $160. <br /> <br />Building: Permits...See attached memo from Cliff Skogstad. <br /> <br />Documents....It is proposed to add the copying of plat maps and <br />maps from the Map Maker Xerox machine to the fee schedule. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Liauor...It is proposed to add a Premises Extension Permit to the fee <br />schedule. A Premises Extension allows liquor establishments to <br />extend their licensed premises to sell liquor (i.e. an outdoor event). <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
