These are <br /> sunsetting positions,intended to last two years,with a possible extension of one year depending on the <br /> employee's education track. <br /> The promotion of Nicholas Albert to patrol officer left one of these positions vacant. We went to <br /> market to fill this position. We received 12 applications and interviewed 10 candidates. We recommend <br /> Nicholas Davis for this position. <br /> Mr. Davis is attending Bemidji State University for Criminal Justice. He worked an internship with the <br /> Edina Police Department and is currently the lead dispatcher for Apria Healthcare. Mr. Davis comes <br /> from a long line of law enforcement professionals stemming back to his Great Grandfather. <br /> Mr. Davis will be paid at step A of pay grade 2.
