West Business Park <br /> Establishing a joint marketing agreement with Hoyt Partners was a goal listed <br /> in the Economic Development Strategic Plan, as well as the Strategic Industrial <br /> Marketing Plan. However, Hoyt Partners recently finalized an agreement with <br /> United Properties to market both the industrial and commercial lots in the <br /> West Business Park. Staff met with representatives from United Properties <br /> several weeks ago to discuss the site development, financing, potential users, <br /> • and planning issues. <br /> 2. Marketing Folder &Fact Sheets <br /> Anita Duckor recently presented a mock-up of marketing material to staff as <br /> part of the communications strategy/logo redesign project. She is currently <br /> acquiring a series of quotes for printing both a new folder and fact sheet <br /> templates. It is anticipated that the materials will be presented at next month's <br /> EDA meeting. <br /> 3. Key Accounts <br /> Staff recently sent letters to ten key accounts listed in the Strategic Industrial <br /> Marketing Plan. The letter highlighted development opportunities and <br /> included information on the city's business parks. Staff will be following up <br /> with phone calls this month and sending out marketing materials as soon as <br /> they are available. <br /> 4. Advertisements <br /> The first ad in the city's new advertising campaign will be featured in the 2001 <br /> first quarter issues of the Minnesota Real Estate Journal Leasing Guide and Job <br /> Shop Technology.
