Pover <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: <br />DATE: <br /> <br />Pat Klaers55~ministrator <br />July 6, 2004~ <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Discuss Worksession Agendas <br /> <br />Item 6.5. <br /> <br />The Council indicated that it wanted to discuss upcoming worksession agendas at this July 6, <br />2004, meeting. <br /> <br />The July 12 agenda looks like the following: <br /> <br />5.1. <br />5.2. <br />5.3. <br />5.4. <br />5.5. <br /> <br />City Council Open Forum <br />Erosion Control and NPDES (See attachment) <br />Boys & Girls Club Funding Options-Programs (See attachment) <br />Affordable Housing <br />Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />The tentative agenda for the August 9, 2004, worksession looks like the following: <br /> 5.1. City Council Open Forum <br /> 5.2. Library <br /> 5.3. Salary Survey <br /> 5.4. Westbound Liquor Store Discussion <br /> 5.5. Budget Worksession <br /> - Capital Outlay <br /> - Personnel <br /> <br />A special Council meeting will be needed on August 23 and/or August 30 to review the 2005 <br />budget proposal. The September 13 worksession may need to be dedicated to the 2005 <br />budget. The proposed maximum tax levy needs to be certified to the County by September <br />15, 2004. <br /> <br />The October 11 worksession should include a follow up to the organizational structure <br />proposal; a follow up on the three Brimeyer worksessions; and a follow up on the December <br />2003 proposed city administrator/City of Elk River work program. <br /> <br />Possible agenda topics for worksessions were reviewed with the City Council on June 7, <br />2004.
