Funds are in the administration <br />budget for my attendance at this national conference. The ICMA conference always provides <br />a wonderful learning opportunity through attending relevant seminars and worksession and <br />by gathering with my peers to discuss current events and issues. The attendance at the 2004 <br />conference is especially important as Minnesota will be the host for the 2005 conference. As <br />such, most members, myself included, will be playing a fairly active role in helping to <br />coordinate and host this 2005 event. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended that the City Council approve attendance for the city admimstrator at the <br />2004 national conference in San Diego. <br /> <br />S:~Council~Pat~2004~ConferenceNat.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
