Recommended for this appointment is Steven Stoffers, the city's lead park <br /> maintenance worker. This, in turn, leaves a vacancy in the lead worker position and staff recommends <br /> appointing Park Maintenance Worker Joshua Baas to that position. <br /> Interim appointments require additional duties, authority, and responsibility. In respect of the additional <br /> duties, authority, and responsibility the city typically provides interim pay during this period. Ten percent <br /> above current salary is consistent with interim pay provided in the past and is the amount requested in the <br /> action above.
