Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:31 p.m. by Chair Anderson. <br /> 2. Consider 02/12/14 Agenda <br /> IPMoved by Commissioner Nystrom and seconded by Commissioner Ahlness <br /> to approve the February 12, 2014 agenda. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 3. Consider Minutes <br /> Moved by Commissioner Holmgren and seconded by Commissioner <br /> Kallemeyn to approve the following January 8,2014 Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission Minutes. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 4. Recreation Coordinator, Tim Dalton Introduction <br /> 5. Open Forum <br /> Students from the University of Minnesota,Jason Tschida,Alex Miller,Lydia <br /> Larson, and Abdiwali Osman shared that as their senior class project they chose to <br /> help in the Elk River skateboard community design a new skate park. They will <br /> conduct research and return to the commission with a final design and cost. <br /> 6. Park/Program Highlight <br /> Mr. Benoit presented a slideshow highlighting the work done by the parks <br /> maintenance crew in support of Hockey Day Minnesota. <br /> • <br />
