The <br />applicant will use the property and building for light manufacturing and warehouse. <br />The southern 60% of the subject lot was originally zoned BP, but was rezoned in 2004 to accommodate <br />the retail sales associated with Maxsun Furniture, the former occupant of the lot. <br />The Comprehensive Plan shows a portion of the lot guided for Highway Business, and the southern 60% <br />guided for Light Industrial. This is one of four lots within the city that have two land use designations. <br />Public Comment <br />Staff received a phone call from the property owner to the west.
