Item: 7 <br />ver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Parks and Recreation Commission <br />FROM: Bill Maertz, Parks and Recreation Director <br />DATE: June 9, 2010 <br />SUBJECT: Directors Report <br />As many of you may akeady know, I have accepted the position of Community Services <br />Director with the City of Santee, California and this will be my last Parks and Recreation <br />Commission meeting here in Elk River. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the <br />past and present members of the Parks and Recreation Commission for their service to the <br />community and to express my heartfelt appreciation for having the opportunity to work with <br />such a great group of people. <br />In the six years that I have had the honor of working for the citizens of Elk River the Pazks <br />and Recreation Commission has been an integral pan of everything that has been <br />accomplished. I know with a great group of Commissioners and a great staff that the Parks <br />and Recreation Department will continue to provide great parks, programs and community <br />events. <br />
