The two boilers used to heat the floor in the locker zooms and the water for the <br />ice resurfacer are old, inefficient, and need to be replaced. The new boilers will have a 93.3% efficiency <br />rating compared to the existing boilers 80% rating. <br />inancia~l ~rrta~ct <br />~~„~. <br />If all portions of the application are approved, the city may receive up to X100,000 in grant funding. The <br />city is not required to provide a match, but the application would be sco~•ed higher. The Ice Arena <br />Com~rrission approved using X39,417 as a match, which would come fxom the Bleacher Fund, Bleacher <br />Funds are collected from ticl~et sales of high school hocl~ey games played at the arena.
