Although we are certainly <br />sensitive to the Program funding needs and fully support the Secondary DARE Program <br />concept, we are also feeling the impact of community growth and needs with shrinking <br />revenue sources. <br />As representatives of the community of Otsego, we strongly support the search of civic <br />organizations for sponsors of the Secondary DARE Program. It has been my experience <br />that civic organizations are very interested in the funding of programs such as DARE. As <br />a member of the Albertville Lions, I will inform them of the funding needs of the <br />Secondary DARE Program in ISD #728.. In addition, I will also inform the Otsego Lions <br />of the needs of the program. The City Council also indicated that your request can again <br />be considered during the 1996 budgeting process for the City. <br />Again, we fully support the Program and wish you continued success in the <br />implementation of the Secondary DARE Program. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />~~~ <br />Norman F.
