Consider August 3, 2009 HRA Agenda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER TOTH AND SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LIESER TO APPROVE THE AUGUST 3, 2009 HRA AGENDA AS PRESENTED. <br />MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br />Consider Consent Agenda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER TOTH TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />3.1. Open Mike — No one appeared for Open Mike. <br />Consider Year 2010 HRA Budget and Resolution Regarding HRA Levy <br />Ms. Johnson stated that the HRA has typically maintained the general operating levy at <br />0.0144 percent of taxable market value. She stated that in past years, market values have <br />increased due to housing, commercial and industrial development. This year, the preliminary <br />market value is expected to decrease 5.5 — 6 percent, (approximately $305,000 in revenues, <br />compared to $317,000 last year). She stated that the market value is expected to decrease <br />even more, once the county has their final numbers. She noted that the numbers are still <br />very preliminary at this point. <br />
