Undue hardship is not demonstrated. 2. The subject property is not unique above and beyond other lots that gain the advantage of additional signage based on the new provisions of Sec 30-870. 3. The lot is allowed 4 freestanding signs on Highway 10. The applicant has chosen one of those signs to display a message not dedicated to its 4 main product lines. 4. The variance adds additional signs that are inconsistent with the provision and goals of the zoning ordinance, an ordinance designed to protect the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the city. Additionally, the variance appears to be inconsistent with the spirit and intent of the ordinance Should the Board of Adjustment or City Council deem it appropriate to approve the variance, staff would recommend that be subject to the recording of the plat of Jabez. Background/Discussion The applicant seeks variance approval that would permit two additional freestanding signs along Highway 10.
