Information <br />fiver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />DATE: June 15, 2009 <br />SUBJECT: Redistricting <br />At the May 11 Council meeting, Councilmember Motin requested a discussion on <br />redistricting. I would suggest that this discussion be delayed until mid to late 2010. There <br />isn't much information to report at this time. Attached is a Minnesota Redistricting <br />Timetable for 2010. <br />I would anticipate that there will be some training offered to local governments in mid-2010. <br />Census data would be distributed in early 2011 and we would begin redistricting at this time. <br />S:\Administration\Council RCA\Elections\Redistricting.doc <br />
