MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER CITY HALL <br />MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2008 <br />Members Present: President Gongoll, Commissioners Dwyer, Farber, Motin, Tveite, and <br />Zerwas <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Klinzing <br />Staff Present: Director of Economic Development Catherine Mehelich, City <br />Administrator Lori Johnson, Finance Director Tim Simon, Planning <br />Manager Jeremy Barnhart, and Recording Secretary Debbie Huebner <br />1. Call Meeting To Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Economic Development <br />Authority was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Gongoll. <br />2. Consider Agenda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER FARBER AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER ZERWAS TO APPROVE THE MARCH 10, 2008 EDA <br />AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />3. Consider Consent A eg nda <br />MOVED BY COMMISSIONER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER DWYER TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />3.1. FEBRUARY 11, 2008 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3.2. CHECK REGISTERS <br />3.3. BALANCE SHEET <br />3.4. REVENUE/EXPENDITURE REPORT <br />3.5. PAY ESTIMATES (YMCA) <br />MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br />4. Open Mike <br />No one was present for open mike. <br />Consider Resolutions Approving the Decertification of TIF District No 6 and TIF District <br />No. 7 in the City of Elk River <br />Director of Economic Development Catherine Mehelich explained that the EDA is asked to <br />consider two resolutions; the first is to approve the decertification of TIF District No. 6 for <br />Mork Clinic, and the second is to approve decertification of TIF District No. 7 for <br />AmericInn. Ms. Mehelich provided background information on both projects. She stated <br />that the bond obligations have been recently paid and it is necessary to decertify the TIF <br />
