.ver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Energy City Commission <br />FROM: Rebecca Haug, Environmental Administrator <br />DATE: April 18, 2007 <br />SUBJECT: April 21, 2007 Energy Expo Update <br />As you all know, Saturday is the day of the big event! Exhibitors will begin set-up at <br />7:00 a.m. Some exhibitors have been given permission to set-up on Friday because their <br />booths will be unmanned and some take longer than 2 hours to set-up. Commissioners <br />should be at the school by 9:00 a.m. to help with registration, directions, etc. We will <br />be handing out t-shirts so please wear them on Saturday. The purpose of them is so we <br />can stand out and direct people to ask us questions, directions, etc. <br />The school tours will begin at 9:00 a.m. The presentations will begin at 10:00 a.m. <br />Please see attached draft program. Moderators will be given a brief bio of the session <br />speakers along with time cards to keep the speakers on track. It is very important <br />that we stick to our time frame. We have also decided to give door prizes for <br />those who attend sessions. When they come into the session, there will be slips of <br />paper and a bowl for them to drop their name in. During the presentation, moderators <br />will need to pick three names and at the end of the session present the prizes to the <br />three winners. <br />You will be provided with Expo Bucks to pay for concessions but an Expo Buck is worth <br />a dollar and you will not receive change so spend your bucks wisely.
