ITEM # 7. <br />of <br />ver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Economic Development Authority <br />FROM: Jeremy Barnhart, Planning Manage <br />DATE: April 09, 2007 <br />SUBJECT: Gateway Business Park <br />Background <br />In March, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) received copies of the market <br />study completed for the City owned property known as the future Gateway Business Park, <br />south of 1715` and north of 165``'. On Monday, Grant Martin of Maxfield Research, Inc. will <br />be at the meeting to discuss his findings as part of the market study, and answer any <br />questions. Please bringyouur copies of the market study for use during the meeting. If you <br />need additional copies, please give me a call. <br />Discussion <br />Following the discussion of the market study, the EDA is asked to develop and identify <br />development goals for the property. With these goals, staff will generate several options for <br />consideration and evaluation. <br />Next s <br />The EDA is asked to accept the completed report and identify development goals for the <br />area. As eventual improvement costs, phasing schedules, and other factors play into the <br />evaluation of options, this information will be provided as part of the presentation of the <br />three land use options, in May. <br />
