~~~~ <br />~~ <br />tver <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Heritage Preservation Commission <br />FROM: Stephen Rohlf, Building and Environmental Administrator <br />DATE: March 11, 2004 <br />SUBJECT: Items on the March 23, 2004 Planning Commission Agenda <br />Attached to this memo is the March 23rd Planning Commission agenda and a map <br />showing the locations of the requests. The following is a summary of the agenda items <br />and their potential to conflict with any known cultural, historical or archaeological <br />resources: <br />5.1 -Jeffery Roehl -Zone Change (ZC 04-03) - No issues. <br />5.2 - "Pullman Place"- Senior Housing (CU 04-OS) -This project is part of the plat of <br />Elk River Station. Although the property involved was disturbed during the plat grading, <br />staff recommends the standard condition listed in this memo apply to this request in case <br />something of archaeological significance is uncovered during the excavation for the <br />foundations of the buildings. <br />5.3 -Menards -Land Use Map amendment (LU 04-01) - No issues. <br />5.4 -Menards -Zone Change (ZC 04-02) - No issues. <br />5.5 -Menards -Expansion (CU 04-01) -There are no known cultural or archaeological <br />sites identified on a near the property involved in this request and the site has been <br />previous disturbed. However, a new building is being proposed and staff recommends <br />the standard condition listed in this memo be placed on this approval to cover the <br />additional excavation. <br />5.6 -Menards -Preliminary Plat (P 04-03) -This is a plat associated with the previous <br />Menards issues. <br />5.7 -City of Elk River -Land Use Map Amendment - (LU 04-OZ) - No issues. <br />
