Item: 6 <br />of <br />mover <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Parks and Recreation Commission <br />FROM: Steve Benoit, Recreation Manager <br />DATE: November 4, 2008 <br />SUBJECT: Staff Report <br />Hot ToPic(s) of the Month <br />• The Barn Dance Boogie was held on Friday, September 19 at Trout Brook Farm. <br />This first time special event gave families a chance to dress up western style and <br />dance to the music of the entertainment group Kids Dance. An inflatable bounce <br />and crazy hair was also available. 50 participants attended the event and expressed <br />that they had an enjoyable time. <br />• One of our fall youth programs is the Eager Elk sports classes held at Lions Park <br />Center. The Eager Elk sports classes are designed for youth ages 3-5 and focus on <br />basic sports skills in a fun, non-competitive environment.
