As you know, the city owns a single-family home <br />directly north of the golf course and offered this home to the Love Elk River group for a <br />transitional house. This group completed a number of household improvements to the <br />home (such as painting and carpeting) and a family has been in this home for a number of <br />months. Street/Park Superintendent Phil Hals has indicated that there have been very few <br />requests presented to him for work or maintenance associated with this house and property <br />since the Love Elk River group has leased the property. <br /> <br />Additionally, the City Council should note that sometime around summer 2003 it is expected <br />that the city will take ownership of the Bailey house next to the Library. <br /> <br />Coundl/ Pat/ Updates/ DweElkRiver(02 ! 003) <br /> <br /> <br />
