CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. O1 - 58 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE URBAN SERVICE AREA MAP OF THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO INCLUDE CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE <br />URBAN SERVICE DISTRICT AND TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND <br />LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMD-NITY COMMERCIAL AND <br />MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> <br />Case No. LU 01-02 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure <br />for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 2001, <br />and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property <br />generally described as: <br /> <br />(See Attached Exhibit A) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request <br />and finds the following: <br /> <br />1. A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY IS CURRENTLY WITHIN THE URBAN SERVICE <br /> DISTRICT; <br /> <br />2. URBAN SERVICES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR EXTENSION TO THE PROPERTY <br /> FROM TYLER STREET; <br /> <br />3. THERE IS NO FINANCIAL IMPACT TO THE CITY OF ELK RIVER FOR THE <br /> EXTENSION OF URBAN SERVICES TO THIS PARCEL; <br /> <br />4.
