Unfortunately, we do not have the necessary <br />equipment to measure noise levels. <br /> <br />As a result of an ongoing neighborhood dispute about noise issues, I feel we need to <br />purchase a device capable of measuring noise levels. This device, if approved, could be <br />utilized by the Building and Zoning Department for noise issues, as well. <br /> <br />I am recommending that the city council, with contingency funds, purchase a Casella (CEL <br />products) moel 460/K1 noise meter in the amount of $2,600.00 (two thousand, six hundred <br />dollars).
