Mick Stof fern, Karen Stelk, John Dietz, Mike Hangaard, Joan Allen from ~RRL and <br />Nick Zerwas City Counci I Liaison were in attendance. <br />Meeting was called to order at 6:50pm. <br />A quorum was established. <br />The agenda, with an addition under "other business", the Treasurer's and <br />Secretary's report were reviewed, a motion and second were made to approve all. <br />Librarian's Report and Old Business: <br />The self -checkout signs are going up. <br />The pavers to the lake will be included in next years budget. <br />The pavers surrounding the butterfly garden are been sunk down. <br />At the May meeting the board members looked at the Book Drop setup outside and <br />agreed we need to have someone look at it and give us recommendations to improve. <br />Mick has called Terry M. f rom the but has not received a call back, Nick is going to <br />call him. <br />Mick is still looking for a f ix for the fireplace. She will contact Jennif er from KKE. <br />New Business: <br />The following requests Mick made for the 2009 budget have been approved: <br />(1) Ramp by the sidewalk in front of building <br />(2) A changing station in the Children's bathroom <br />(3) Pavers to Lake Orono so people can cut across the lawn to the sidewalk <br />(4) End panels for juvenile shelving and tops for periodical shelving <br />(5) Projector and laptop for the community room for programming <br />(6) Landscape maintenance <br />The brackets have been ordered for the solar panel for the flagpole. <br />The patio wi I I be on the City Counci Is 7/7 meeting agenda. If approved there is a <br />10 day construction timef tame. <br />The city is still holding back $5,000 from Merrimac <br />Other Business <br />In a prior meeting we talked about having an aerial photo taken of the Library and <br />displaying it. John will get a quote for the photo and framing. <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:10 pm <br />Next meeting on 7/22 <br />
