Originally I was going to purchase the B Micromatic Nilfisk Advance <br />Floor Scrubber however at a recent trade show I came across a machine that will better fit <br />the Arena's needs. This machine is the Clark L 20 which costs $5,200.00. The extra cost <br />of the machine will be absorbed through savings from expedient cleaning and other cuts in <br />the budget. <br /> <br />The B Micromatic Nilfisk Advance has a 17" scrubbing pad with an 8 gallon solution tank <br />and a 6 gallon recovery tank and is not self propelled. The Clark L20 has a scrubbing pad <br />of 20" and the solution and recovery tanks have a capacity of 14 gallons each. The <br />scrubber is self-propelled and has other features that make the machine easier to operate <br />than the Advance machine. <br /> <br />The Scrubber will be used in the lobby area, player's hallways, Open Skating Area and in <br />the locker rooms. The Scrubber will save time keeping these areas cleaned and will do a <br />better job than a mop. <br /> <br />If there are no objections form the Mayor or City Council I will be purchasing the Floor <br />Scrubber January 23, 2001. The unit is in stock and will be shipped a few days after it has <br />been ordered. <br /> <br />If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. <br /> <br /> <br />
