R. Horton. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />· Map of parcels to be exchanged <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />As was discussed with the City Council at its February 11th meeting, the City is considering a <br />land exchange with D.R. Horton of Outlots A and B - Elk River Crossing, Outlot B - Elk <br />River Business Park, and the remnant from the George Deschenes property. <br /> <br />Prior to disposition of publicly owned land, the City is required to conduct a public hearing. <br />The Planning Commission at its February 26, 2002 meeting reviewed the request for <br />consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and found that the request is consistent. The Park <br />and Recreation Commission supports the land exchange with D.R. Horton, as they would <br />obtain a parcel of land they have been interested in for park purposes (Outlot K, Trott <br />Brook Farms. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council conduct a public hearing and take testimony from <br />the public.
