The City has received only <br />one application. The application received is from Jennifer Sharp and is attached for Council <br />review. <br /> <br />Jennifer Sharp lives just across the Elk River border in Big Lake Township. Regarding <br />Jennifer's residence outside of Elk River, State Law states the following: <br /> <br />"If the d~y library is a branch or a member of a regionalpublic library (ystem, the mayor, mith the approval <br />of the dry coundl, may appoint to the d~y library board, residents of the coun(y provided the county is <br />pattidpating in the regionalpublic library (ystem and that the majority of the members of the d(y library <br />board are residents of the d~y." <br /> <br />Currently, the four Library Board members are all residents of the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
