Item# 3.12 <br />aty <br />E <br />Kive r <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Sheila Cartney, Senior Planner <br />DATE: February 13, 2008 <br />SUBJECT: Accept Sonic's Waiver of Appeal for a Sign Variance <br />At the February 12, 2008 Board of Adjustments (BOA) meeting, the BOA denied the <br />request to allow additional wall signs on the proposed sonic building. Because of the denial <br />the variance has an automatic appeal to the City Council. The applicant has informed staff <br />they no longer wish to pursue the variance and are waiving their right to an appeal. The <br />applicant has withdrawn that variance request, the letter is attached. <br />No further action is necessary by the City Council. <br />
