Additionally, direction was given during a Planning Commission <br />workshop on May 22°`~. Discussion at that meeting centered on making modifications to the <br />definitions section, to more clearly define the likely uses, and to allow certain "entertainment" uses <br />in the Commercial zoning districts, but preserve the industrial for industrial uses. There was <br />concern that larger entertainment uses shift the character of the district and development from its <br />intended use. <br />This memo attempts to memorialize the direction given by the Planning Commission; Staff requests <br />the Planning Commission make minor modifications, if necessary, and forward a proposed <br />ordinance onto the City Attorney and City Council. <br />Attachments <br />None <br />Overview/ Analysis <br />Based on the direction received thus far on this topic, staff recommends the following ordinance. <br />New text proposed to the existing ordinance is underlined, and text from an existing ordinance to be <br />deleted would be would be stt~l~te~tgl~. <br />Proposed Ordnance amendments: <br />Sec 30-1, Definitions <br />
