RESOLUTION 99- 93 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2000 MUNICIPAL <br /> GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council annually reviews and adopts a municipal <br />budget, which balances proposed expenditures with anticipated <br />revenues; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on September 13, 1999, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />99-66, which established the proposed maximum levy for <br />2000; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on December 6, 1999, the City Council, in compliance with state <br />law, held a public hearing on the proposed 2000 levy and <br />proposed 2000 budget; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after due review and consideration, the City Council is now <br /> prepared to adopt its 2000 general fund municipal budget. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota, that it does hereby approve and adopt its 2000 <br />municipal general fund budget in the amount of $5,862,500. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 13tn day of <br />December, 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Sandra A.
