City of <br />E <br />River <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />To Item Number <br />Ci ~ Council 3.11. <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent February 4~', 2008 erem Barnhart <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Request by Waconia Farm Supply for Conditional Use Perrnit <br />for Expansion of Use to Include Truck Rentals, Case No. CU Reviewed by <br />08-03 <br />Action Requested <br />Remand Waconia Farm supply to Planning Commission for recommendation based on additional <br />information. <br />Background/Discussion <br />At its meeting on January 22"d, the City Council reviewed a Conditional Use Permit for Waconia Farm <br />Supply to offer Budget trucks for rent. The Council received testimony from adjacent property owners <br />with concern for right of way encroachment, parking, access, and other issues. The City Council asked <br />that a survey be provided, to better understand property line locations. <br />Since that meeting, Paul Motin, as Council liaison to the Planning Commission, met with Planning <br />Commissioner Anderson who was the P1atulirlg Commission representative at the Council meeting when <br />this was discussed.
