There has not been many opportunities for him to be before the City <br />Council, so as long as he is at this meeting to talk about the burning <br />ordinance, we both thought it would be appropriate to have a brief visit or <br />question/answer session with the Chief on how things are going. <br />After the Chief was hired in October, we met to discuss some of the City's <br />goals for the Fire Department. These goals included an inspections program, <br />an emergency operations plan, a CIP program, a public education and public <br />awareness program for fire prevention, and some more issues internal to the <br />Fire Department.
