Ach, City Planner-,~~~~~~- <br />February 27, 1995 <br />SUBJECT: Consider Granting Extension For <br />Preliminary Plat Approval - <br />Mississippi Oaks, Case No. P 93-5 <br />Issue <br />The developer is requesting the City Council consider granting extension for <br />preliminary plat approval-Mississippi Oaks Second Addition. <br />Attachments <br />• Letter from the developer requesting extension for preliminary plat approval, <br />excerpt from Subdivision Ordinance. <br />Oueruiew <br />The City Council originally granted preliminary plat approval for Mississippi <br />Oaks on April 19, 1993. At that time the preliminary plat consisted of 155 <br />single family lots and was anticipated to be platted in approximately 5 <br />phases. Final plat for the first phase of 37 lots was granted by the City <br />Council on 5/17/93. <br />Similar to the previous request by the developer of Meadowvale Heights staff <br />does not believe the conditions or long range plans for this area have changed <br />to warrant further review, therefore, would support the developers request <br />for an extension to their preliminary plat approval. <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended the City Council grant an extension to preliminary plat <br />approval for Mississippi Oaks. <br />• <br />s:council:p93-5 <br />13065 Orono Parkway • P.O.
