~~r ~~ <br />**iTEM 4.9** <br />'ty of ~~ MEMORANDUM <br />River TO: Mayor & City Council <br />lk • <br />FROM: Phil Hals, Street/Park Superintendent <br />DATE: March 20, 1995 <br />SUBJECT: Ballfield Groomer <br />The 1995 budget identifies $10,500 for the purchase of a grooming machine <br />that will be used by the Recreation department during the summer to groom <br />softball and baseball fields and line soccer fields for the summer youth rec <br />programs. <br />It is my recommendation that the City Council authorize the purchase of a <br />John Deere Gator from Scharber's, Inc., of Rogers for $6,925 including tax. <br />I would also recommend the purchase of a field line striper from Cushman <br />Motors for use with the Gator for the sum of $1, 545 including tax.
