At this time Palmer West <br />Construction is requesting final payment of the contract. Provided for you is <br />the application and certificate for this payment. Please note the additional <br />charges which are $500 for the replacement of insulation, $650 for wall <br />modification. This part was an add-on that at time of bid drawings, Inspec <br />and myself did not fee we would have to do, but after tearing off the roof, <br />Inspec and I did determine that we did need additional flashing to protect the <br />upper and lower roof. This $650 price as an excellent price for the work done. <br />The last item is the four hours of snow removal at $140, totaling $1,290.00 <br />change order. <br /> <br />I feel Palmer West construction did an excellent job in the construction of this <br />new mopped roof system for the fire station and feel that the job they <br />performed will last for many years to follow. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />At this time I am requesting payment of $34707.00 made to Palmer West <br />Construction for the completion of the partial re-roof at the Elk River Fire <br />Station. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />b&z:palmer <br />13065 Orono Parkway.
