No electrical services shall be across any drive or walking surface. <br />2. All applicable fire codes shall be met. <br />3. If traffic becomes a problem around the temporary site, the sales area shall be <br />delineated with a barrier to restrict traffic. <br />4. The sales tent be maintained free of debris and kept in an orderly condition. <br />5. The location of the tent is consistent with the submitted site plan. <br />6. The tent area be removed by July 11, 2007 the site be returned to its previous <br />condition. <br /> <br />Backg-round/Discussion <br />The subject site is a former Cenex station, now called MP Convenience, located at 13374 Highway 10. <br />'Ibis location has not had a General Planning Permit for fireworks sales in the past. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />. Site plan <br /> <br />Overview <br />The fireworks sales are proposed from June 27, 2007 through July 7, 2007; however, the tent may be <br />setup a couple days prior to the sales starting. The hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. <br /> <br />The proposed location is in the parking lot, straight out from the gas pumps near Highway 10. It appears <br />that in this location the tent will not disrupt traffic flow nor will it create any parking problems. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Staff recommends approval of the General Planning Permit request for temporary fireworks sales in a <br />20'x30' tent in the parking lot of MP Convenience as indicated on the site plan, with the conditions as <br />outlined above. <br /> <br />C:\Documents and Settings\jmiUer\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK3E\C.C. report 618 07.doc <br />
