RESOLUTION 98 - 128 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ELK RIVER POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />the Elk River Police Department is authorized to enter into a <br />cooperative agreement with the State of Minnesota, <br />Department of Public Safety; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Elk River Police Department agrees to receive a <br />Heartstream Automated External Defibrillator (AED) <br />through a public safety grant and further agrees to train its <br />personnel in the use of the AED and report the results of its <br />use to the appropriate agency. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Assistant Chief Jeffrey <br />Beahen is hereby authorized to execute such agreement and amendments as <br />are necessary and to implement the project on behalf of the Elk River Police <br />Department and to be the fiscal agent and administrator of the grant. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 23ra day <br />of November, 1998. <br /> <br />A.
