RESOLUTION 98-__96 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF <br /> MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO INSTALL <br />EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE-EMPTION AND LED SIGNAL INDICATIONS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Elk River enter into an agreement with the <br /> State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following <br /> <br />purposes: <br /> <br />To install emergency vehicle pre-emption and LED signal indications <br />at the existing traffic control signals on Trunk Highway No. 10 at <br />Main Street, at Jackson Avenue, and at County State Aid Highway <br />No. 1 (Proctor Avenue Northwest) - Proctor Avenue Northwest, on <br />Trunk Highway No. 169 at Jackson Road Northwest - 193ra Avenue <br />Northwest, at School Street Northwest - Elk Hills Drive, at Main <br />Street - Nowthen Road, and at Trunk Highway No. 10 North Ramps, <br />and on School Street Northwest at Freeport Avenue, and at Jackson <br />Avenue; and install LED signal indications at the existing traffic <br />control signals on Trunk Highway No. 10 at Joplin Street Northwest, <br />and on Trunk Highway No. 169 at 197th Avenue Northwest in <br />accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in <br />Agreement No. 77895R, a copy of which was before the Council. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized to <br /> execute such agreement, and thereby assume for an on behlaf of the <br /> City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 31st day of <br />August, 1998. <br /> <br />Sandra A. i>eine, '~ity CFerir - <br /> <br />Duitsman, Mayor <br /> <br />s:\document\resoluti\signal.doc <br /> <br /> <br />
