This is the fourth consecutive <br />year that the City has received this achievement. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />The notification of receiving this award comes about a year after the calendar <br />year has ended. Additionally, the actual award is received about 2 or 3 <br />months after the City has received notification of the Certificate of <br />Achievement. I have had the plaque acknowledging this achievement in my <br />office for over a month, and as the Finance Director, Lori Johnson, will be in <br />attendance at this City Council meeting, I think that this would be an <br />appropriate time to have the Mayor formally present Lori with this plaque. <br />As previously discussed, in this manner it is hopeful that we will have a <br />photo opportunity, and some good City news can get into the Star News so <br />that appropriate recognition can be given to the City, the Finance <br />Department, and our Finance Director for the excellent job they have done. <br /> <br />Attached for your review is the background information I presented to the <br />City Council when the City received notification of this award for Fiscal Year <br />1992. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />P.O.
