Based on the information provided and the discussion at that workshop, the City
Council directed me to put together a work scope and schedule for proceeding with the
feasibility study to extend trunk sanitary sewer and watermain to this area of town. The
following schedule assumes that the upgrading of the wastewater treatment plant will
proceed through the design and review phase in 1994, funding will be available at that time,
and construction will be undertaken in 1995 and early 1996. The plant would then be
available for connection in the spring of 1996. Given this assumption, a possible schedule
for the East TH 10 feasibility study would be as follows:

February 1994
· City Council authorizes updating the feasibility study.
· City Council reviews and approves total study area for East TH 10
feasibility .

90-120 days - Draft study completed.

June/July 1994 - Updated draft study presented to City Council.

August/September 1994 - Informational meeting.

November 1994 - Final feasibility study received by City Council and public hearing
ordered. (proceeding from this point should correspond to authorization to proceed
with WWTP expansion.)
