These projects include CS.L'\H 1 (contract \vas let on late last year), CSAH 33 and County High\vay 40, \vhicll are anticipated to begin late in 2006. Discussion \Vllen Sllerburne County undertakes a road reconstruction project in the City of Elk Ri\Ter, it is necessary for tlle City to pass a resolution approving the plans. In addition, because a portion of County Highway 40 (Cle~leland _A.:v"enue) \vill be consttucted to an urban standard \vith concrete curb and gutter, it is also necessary to pass a no parking resolution, since the street section is not \~vide enougll to allO\V on street parking. Financial Impact Tllere is no financial impact to tlle City in considering tlle resolutions appro'ving the plans and tlle resolution restricting parking on County Higll\vay 40. There \vill be some financial impact to tlle reconstruction of County Higll\vay 40 dlat llas been documented in other Council information. Attachments .
