We hope to meet in <br />the large conference room. There is one regular business item <br />on the agenda (tabled from the 3/15/93 Counci l meeting) before <br />the joint meeting is scheduled to begin. The need for this parcel will increase once a plat is <br />presented for the Lakoduk property. It would be nice to clear <br />up this situation at this time and identify whether or not the <br />County wi Ll sell the City the minimum requirement of 1.3 acres <br />or a larger area of approximately 2.42 acres. The City has <br />previously indicated that it would be wi lling to pay the fair <br />market price for this land. <br /> <br />Even if the amount of land to be purchasedt or the price for <br />this land cannot be determined at this meetingt it is important <br />for the City to obtain a right of entry from the County in <br />order to extend uti lities down Fresno Street to provide <br />uti lit ie-Hi. to the I(incanon and i'1oldenIO)"HH,n- plats. Thif-. \"i<"l1t o i'- <br />entry involves a very small area of property from the County <br />(approx. 1/4 acrs). The intent of this purchase is to have the City own (and <br />improve and maintain) this parking lot area in case the <br />fairgrounds ever relocates outside of Elk River.
