Call Meetina To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic <br />Development Authority was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Gongoll. <br /> <br />2. Consider May 13, 1996. EDA Aaenda <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DWYER MOVED TO APPROVE THE MAY 13, 1996, EDA AGENDA. <br />COMMISSIONER HOLMGREN SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Consider EDA Consent Aaenda <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE EDA CONSENT AGENDA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />4. APRIL 8, 1996, REGULAR EDA MEETING MINUTES.. APPROVED <br />APRIL 8, 1996, WORKSESSION MINUTES.. APPROVED <br />5. CHECK REGISTER.. APPROVED <br />80. CALL SPECIAL MEETING FOR 5/23/96 TO RECEIVE AN UPDATE ON THE <br />RIVERFRONT PATHWAY PROJECT.. APPROVED <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER BENDER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> <br />6. Consider Reauest for Tax Increment Financina Assistance from McChesney <br />Cabinets <br /> <br />Executive Director Pat Klaers indicated that McChesney Cabinets is requesting <br />tax increment financing assistance for a land write down on a pay-as-you-go <br />basis. He further stated that during the 4/8/96 worksession, the Economic <br />Development Authority has indicated its support of this request. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Jerry McChesney of McChesney Cabinets indicated that he is proposing to <br />construct a building of 10,000 square feet in the McChesney Industrial Park.
