Call Meeting To Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River <br />Economic Development Authority was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by <br />President Gongoll. <br /> <br />2. Consider 1/10/94 EDA Agenda <br /> <br />Bill Rubin requested that the following items be added to the EDA <br />agenda: <br /> <br />13.A. <br />13.B. <br />13.C. <br /> <br />Update on City video <br />Update on Certified Development Company <br />Request to call a special meeting on January 18, 1994, at <br />5:45 p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE 1/10/94 EDA AGENDA AS AMENDED. <br />COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 6-0. <br /> <br />3. Consider 12/13/93 EDA Minutes <br /> <br />Bill Rubin requested that the following corrections be made to the <br />12/13/93 EDA Minutes: <br /> <br />1. Page 1 - Heading should be corrected to reflect that the meeting <br />was held at Salk Junior High <br /> <br />2. Page 3 - The last paragraph in #9 should indicate that January 3, <br />1994, is a City Council meeting. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER FARBER MOVED TO APPROVE THE 12/13/93 <br />AMENDED. COMMISSIONER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />6-0. <br /> <br />EDA MINUTES AS <br />MOTION CARRIED <br /> <br />4. Open Mike - Presentation by Don spotts <br /> <br />Don spotts discussed how a community east of Seattle revived its <br />Central Business District by using a German theme. Allor the store <br />fronts reflected this theme as did the costumes worn by all employees. <br />He indicated that people from allover the United States now visit this <br />small town. <br />
