<br />Elk River City Planning COmmission <br /> <br />February 24th, 1975. <br /> <br />Sanitary Sewer---Bad New---No money available. <br /> <br />Joint Meeting with Township on March 24th Re: Consolidation. <br /> <br />March 31st to be next meeting of the planning commission. <br /> <br />Hearing on Change of zoning from R-l to C-l- on the <br />land occupied by Sachs' store and bear hall, which had burned <br />down. Larry Toth, Dick GOngoll, Clifford Lundberg, Rex Oettinger <br />and Dan Bailey, Presence. <br />There was much talk in favor of the change and a considerable <br />amount of it came from people that frequented the tavern--not from <br />the local residents. <br />The opposition claimed that all the people withing 300 feet had <br />not received notices. <br />In the discussion following the presentation of opinions by the <br />people present, it was pointed out that the boundary lines of the <br />property to be used where not known. Neither was it known whether <br />there would be room for a commercial building and the required parking <br />that would be needed. <br />Ir was Moved by Larry Toth and Seconded by Rex Oettinger that <br />any decission be deferred pending a survey and the submission of a <br />cite plan. . Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting Adjurned. <br />
