<br />Meeting of the Village (City) Plann~ng COmmission <br />June 24th, 1974. <br /> <br />Meeting was held at the First National Bank with the Township of Elk <br /> <br />River, Minnesota concerning the question of Planned annexation, or <br /> <br />Annexation, etc. Dick Fredland, the Village's planner was present <br /> <br />and he presented his final report entitled URBAN AREAS STUDY, <br /> <br />City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Minutes read and approved. <br /> <br />Daniel Anderson present wanting permit to proceed with his <br /> <br />revised plan. The revised plan called for 2 non-conforming appartments <br /> <br />in the second floor of the building at the corner of main and lowell <br /> <br />(Southeast corner) . <br /> <br />We considered the question of the live of <br /> <br />the non-conforming structure being improved. Would it extend the <br /> <br />life of the nmn-conforrnance past the time when the non-conformance <br /> <br />was originally alouable per zoning regulations? <br /> <br />It was Moverd that the variance asked for be granted so that two <br /> <br />units could be built provided that the owner furnish an inforaeable <br /> <br />agreement with the village to surrender half of the remaining time <br /> <br />of amortization schedule per Ordinance Sec. 8-1 <br /> <br />M.S.C. <br />
