<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />RESOLUTION NO. 06-~2 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />TO CHANGE THE LAND USE FROM LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) TO HB (HIGHWAY <br />BUSINESS) <br /> <br />Case No. LU 06-03 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462.355, Subdivision 2, prescribes the procedure <br />for amending the Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 <br />and recommended approval regarding the Comprehensive Plan amendment request for the property <br />generally described as: <br /> <br />Outlot A, Leon Lefebvre Addition, <br />Sherburne County, Minnesota <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has .reviewed the Comprehensive Plan amendment request <br />and finds the following: <br /> <br />1. The subject property is contiguous with property that is currently guided Highway <br />Business. <br />2. The proposed amendment will not have an adverse affect on adjacent properties. <br />3. The subject property will be included in future commercial redevelopment of the <br />northwest comer of Ulysses Street and 171st Avenue. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />that the Land Use Plan be amended to change the property as described above from LI (Light <br />Industrial) to HE (Highway Business). <br /> <br />PASSED by the City Council ofthe City of Elk River this 17th day of April, 2006. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />) d (/ ft. <br />),/~_/~ <br /> <br /> <br />Ob- (j f) <br />
