Subd. #3, for construction of office building and T.V. shop. <br />Several residents of the area and Louis Fohl, an adjoining property Ovnner, <br />were present. Mr. Pohl stated there is already a problem tilth water drainage <br />in the area and that residents were concerned, a goad sized parking lot on the <br />property, to be rezoned, '~lould ade" to the problem. Koronsky, <br />their Architect, end Tom Wilson were present regarding the proposed housing <br />for the elderlz{ a.1"ld nutrition center to be fina.need by WJD. IlJirs. Mills <br />reported that the Fire Chief could not, and would not, disapprove of their <br />plans for a four to six story building. They also said that BUD rules would <br />be strictly followed and many precautions would of course be ta~en to <br />ttfire proof" the building as much as poss.ible (Masonry Construction 2-hour <br />stair ways, fire wells, etc.). <br /> <br />A special meeting was scheduled for August 14 for hearing on request for <br />variance for construction of H1~ Senior Citizens Housing Project. <br /> <br />Chip Martin was present regarding adding a used car lot to his present <br />business development in Aud. Subd. of ELK 22, Lot 1 & part of 2 & 4. There <br />was discussion on the problem of State Highway property being used for parking <br />and u-~developed City Street property being used without first being vacated. <br />Mr. Martin was told he would have to complete applications for hearings on <br />zone change and variances (for lot size &~d set back) and for conditional <br />use permit. <br /> <br />There was discussion on the problem of Douglas Pitzele onerating a business <br />in a garage building code requirements in pt. of S.E. 1(4 of Sovl. 1,/4, 2-32-26. <br />UPON r~10TION BY FOX, SECONDED BY LUCAS AI\iD Cft..PJtIED, IT 1~1..A..S RECOr\.l1~NDED TO THE <br />CITY COUl'JCIL THF..T THE O\111ER (FLOYD KRUSE) AND PRESEI~T OCCUPANT (D.
