<br />MONTHLY MEETING OF THE ELK RIVER VILLAGE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 30th, 1973. <br /> <br />Those Present: Clifford Lundberg, Larry Toth, George Zabee, Richard Gongoll, <br />and Dan Bailey. <br /> <br />Questions to be considered.: <br />A. Traffic on R.R. Drive. <br />B. Orderly annexation. <br />C. Liquour Store Off Sale. <br />(NE Cor. of Main and 169. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion it was decided to forego a study by the <br />planner, who, it was believed, would reccomend that we go ahead and try <br />a way way street between Jackson and Irving on R.R. Drive (Wane-Way East.) <br />and a ONWWAY North x~x on IRVING from R.R. Drive to 4th Street. <br />Appropriate signs to be obtained and posted as needed. <br /> <br />(B), The proposed case of a study that would lead toward PLANNEaD <br />ANNEXATION was considered. It was thought that the costs were high in <br />that the study also included porposed work that would lead to township <br />changes in the land use plan of the County.. There was also talk concerni.ng <br />the sharing of costs by the Twp. the VII. and the County. <br />It was decided to ask the planner for a reduced estimate. <br />(C) as to the location of an off-sale unit on 169, to was decided to <br />request and Planned Unit. Development of the area, as this is would was <br />in the mill from former planning cessions concerning this area. <br /> <br />ADJURNED . <br />
