<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.,. <br /> <br />Minutes of Elk River Planning Commission <br /> <br />Special meeting held October 15, 1970. All members were present. It was <br />brought out that the zoning commissioner had turned down a request for a <br />special use permit for a certain manufacturing plant which was to be located <br />in the Flaherty Building at 631, Highway 10. The purpose of this meeting <br />was to review a letter received from Cahill Industries Incorporated whi ch <br />was appealing this decision and consideration was given to a possible variance <br />to the zoning regulations. <br /> <br />After considerable discussion, the motion was made by Gongoll and seconded <br />by Al Bailey and passed unaminously that the Elk River Planning Commission <br />recommend to the village council ,that they grant a variance for the location at <br />631 Highway 10 to operate an automobile brake shoe business as described in <br />the letter dated October 8, 1970 from Cahill Industries Incorporated as attached <br />and further that this should be a l~mited term agreement with a suggested three <br />year maximum and that off-street parking and storage should comply with the <br />ordinance in effect.
