<br />. <br /> <br />ELK RIVER PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br />DATE: March 30, 1970 <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Dan Bailey <br />Derr <br />Hilmer Bartelt <br />Dick Gongoll <br />P. A. Siegler <br />Dick Fredland, from Planning Firm <br />John Morris, from State of Minnesota <br /> <br />John Oliver and Marvin George presented a revised plan of school view, <br />first addition~ They would like general approval so they can ask for <br />annexation to the village with sanitary sewer and water. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Erving Moldenhauer presented the same plat as was shown at a previous <br />meeting. The question of drainage was discussed and the need for a <br />topographic map. <br /> <br />The possibility of buying and an aerial survey was discussed. John Oliver <br />offered to contact Mark Hurd for information on flying the area. <br /> <br />Fredland presented the capital improvements guide. <br /> <br />The revised CBD plan was shown for double the present population levels <br />serving from 8 -10,000 people. <br /> <br />Also reviewed some suggested guidelines for zoning standards that might <br />be used in revised zoning regulations. <br /> <br />A variance was recommended for a lot in upper-town. <br /> <br />. <br />
